BRUNSON FIGHTS WITH THE FEDS

Doyle Brunson was having a small scuffle with the Feds due to some issues. Doyle Brunson had spoken confidently about the Federal investigations last year and said that hopefully they would not have a problem with him or with internet gambling. He believed, just like many others did that poker is legal under the US law, and hence the poker groups and alliances are ready to stand up and fight.

BRUNSON FIGHTS WITH THE FEDS

Doyle Brunson was seen fighting with the Federal legends with regard to issues in gambling. Two indictments filed by the U.S. Attorney in Baltimore, Rod Rosentein, were unsealed on Monday that charged a Canadian company, ThrillX Systems, and a Cyprus company, K23 Group, with operating illegal gambling businesses and money laundering. Three individuals were also charged, but Brunson was not one of them. He had recently distanced himself from DoylesRoom, saying he no longer was associated with the web site that carried his image and asked it to stop using his name.

BRUNSON COMPLAINS OF DISCOMFORT

Eventhough Doyle Brunson may not have had the greatest of WSOP careers, he is still one of the greats of poker. Recently Doyle Brunson complained about feeling discomfort throughout the 2010 WSOP due to dental related problems, all of which made for a WSOP he’d prefer to forget. As Doyle explained:

“Those gum treatments were supposed to be over in 4-5 months, but this has taken already eight months. I’ve got seven implants in my mouth which feels like getting on a carousel and not being able to get off.”

BRUNSON ON SECURITY ISSUES

In his blog, poker legend Doyle Brunson recently discussed the trials and tribulations of the CEREUS Network. For those who are unaware, the CEREUS Network, which has found itself in the news for all the wrong reasons lately, suffered a security breach that cast another dark cloud over both UB.com and Absolute Poker. UB.com has since worked extremely hard to remedy the problems, but in some circles, the damage has long been done. Here’s what Doyle has to say about the whole ordeal:
